Many nationalities, among them the EU, UK, US, Japan and Australia, enter visa-free. Everyone else applies online in a few minutes. Visas run to 120 days, extendable by 60.

Zvartnots International (EVN), 15 km west of Yerevan. Direct services from Paris, Vienna, Warsaw, Athens, Doha, Dubai and Istanbul, plus low-cost routes across Europe.

Bus 201 runs to King Pap (Amiryan) Street for about 300 ֏, roughly 30 minutes. Yandex Go or GG by app costs 2,000–3,000 ֏ and takes 20–25.

The Armenian dram (AMD, ֏). Cards work almost everywhere in Yerevan; carry cash for the mountain stages, where they often will not.

Yerevan’s metro is 150 ֏ a ride; 300 ֏ buys 180 minutes across metro, bus and trolleybus. Between host towns, hire a car or a driver: the race roads are the scenery.

Viva-MTS, Ucom and Team sell prepaid SIMs and eSIMs at the arrivals hall.

Race week averages 26°C by day and 13°C at night, with about 17 mm of rain across the whole month. Bright, dry, and cool once the sun drops behind the ridges.
